Here at the injection clinic we offer a specialist point of care ultrasound scan. Ultrasound is a technique which uses sounds waves to generate images onto a screen. It can be useful when assessing joints, ligament and tendons. It can help diagnose conditions such as:

- Tendinitis / Tendinopathy
- Fat pad inflammation / Bursitis
- Osteoarthritis of the knee, shoulder, wrist, hand, hip, ankle, etc.
- Part of the meniscus / femoral cartilage
- Bakers cyst
- Ligament injuries
